Solis is the passion project of chefs Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, the duo behind the much-loved TÄ€ TÄ€ Eatery. Named after 16th-century explorer Juan DÃaz de Solis, the concept celebrates cooking with coal and flame and the culinary traditions of Southern Europe and South America. At its heart, Solis is about simplicity and flavour - unfussy, soulful dishes made with care.
You’ll find Solis Restaurant at Battersea Power Station, a relaxed all-day spot where the menu revolves around flame-grilled chicken and steak, while the Solis Counter at Arcade Tottenham Court Road brings a fast-casual take on the same signature flavours.

At Battersea Power Station, Solis comes into its own as a neighbourhood grill. The menu champions spatchcock chicken brushed in smoked Aji-Aji oil, flat-iron steak with Solis’ peppery entrecôte sauce, and classic sides like crispy beef croquetas, grilled corn with lime-chilli crema, and Huevos Rellenos devilled eggs. Drinks include Uruguayan wines by Pablo Fallabrino, sangria by the jug, and the traditional Medio y Medio aperitif. For dessert, don’t miss the Torta de Queso cheesecake or the indulgent Torta de Chocolate, baked fresh daily.
