Sushi Kamon is a sushi kitchen from the founders of Yashin. The menu offers their unique Japanese dishes like Tuna Maki Rolls with truffle ponzu jelly and Tempura Prawn Sandos with kumquat.
The term ‘kamon’ refers to ancestral Japanese trademarks, traditionally displayed at the entrance of family homes and embroidered onto kimonos.
The key principles of sushi are at the heart of each dish at Sushi Kamon. Yashin’s master sushi chefs have trained extensively in their craft, nurturing a deep understanding of the seasonality, texture and oiliness of their fish and the delicate balance of ingredients required to form each dish.
Guests can also book tickets to Sushi Kamon’s omakase experience up at the counter. Omakase – meaning ‘I’ll leave it to you’ – is a revered Japanese dining experience in which master sushi chefs prepare a bespoke menu in front of their guests, talking through each dish as it is served.
Sushi Kamon’s omakase is a 45-minute experience, available to book one month in advance for up to 8 guests here.
