Omakase (meaning 'I’ll leave it up to you’) is a revered form of Japanese dining, in which Sushi Kamon's head chef Michael and his master sushi chefs prepare a unique and monthly-changing menu in front of guests, talking through each course as it is served.

In this interactive counter experience, chef Michael and his team serve nine courses with examples from the current menu including 14 Days Aged Spanish Otoro, Japanese Yellowtail and Scottish Dived Scallop Tempura. Guests can choose to enjoy the menu alongside a Japanese sake pairing, which can be included at an extra cost.

The dining experience caters for 10 guests per sitting, starting promptly at 6.30pm and 8.30pm. We now have two menu options for Omakase, see below for timings:

Omakase Monthly Special

A5 Japanese Wagyu beef, widely considered the best beef in the world, will form part of the nine-course Omakase menu, from Tuesday 8 November - Saturday 3 December. 

Reared solely in Japan, Wagyu beef is the result of a meticulous rearing technique using only native Japanese cattle which are fed a strict nutrient-packed diet resulting in their incredibly unique marbling, flavouring and texture. 

A5 Wagyu beef is the highest-grade and most expensive form of Wagyu. It is described as intensely umami and soft as butter. It will be available as part of the £45 and £75 Omakase experience at no additional cost. Don’t miss this unique and very limited experience.
